Beauty in Life

Friends gather as the sun is rising. A discussion about beauty evolves.

What a beautiful morning!”

“I look out, seeing aspects and the whole at the same time. It shines in all its glory.”

“Yes. Beautiful… Language is odd. I see something here that I’d describe as beautiful yet the word seems to mean different things to different people.”

“E=mc², an equation celebrated as a work of genius, allowing great leaps in science, is often described as beautiful by those in the field of science. I wonder if the deep senses we are currently experiencing are in any way similar to those of the people who describe E=mc² as beautiful?”

“Does understanding in science add to the core appreciation of existence? Does it detract?”

“I wonder if investigation changes the human mind rendering a natural, human, appreciation of living different?”

“Changing how an individual experiences the world, placing them distant from the true nature of life, will be damaging. The individuals concerned will feel a thing that would cause poor health. If however their investigations maintained the nature of their essence, true life within them, the stretching of their minds is purposeful – not to the cost of what is fundamentally important.”

“Yes. Only fools try to make their castle higher by taking the blocks from the base.”

“Not always fools. Some struggle to see where the important things lie; burning bridges without realising.”

“It would be a shame for a person to discover something new, be celebrated by many then forget where the source of the warmth, joy and appreciation comes from.”

“In this world, does the individual believe they have discovered something or do they believe they have been privileged to have had that particular moment delivered to them?”

“The understanding that grows, the wisdom that exists, recognises the moments in the ’mind’ when a person has turned to look. Not truly understanding what it is they are looking at but generally believe they are looking within their own intellect. They are therefore, in most cases, certain that what they produce is all of their own making.”

“It’s not uncommon to hear a creative person, such as a writer, to claim that parts of a script just seemed to write itself.”

“Inspiration in creativity can come from many places. Some moments flow like torrents.”

“I had a moment. π x 7/G was given to me by the wisdom. It’s apparently key to calculating a galactic size question. I’ve not shared it with anyone. Does that mean it is less beautiful than the ones celebrated?

“A piece of a jigsaw only, but if it is indeed the missing piece, there may be a resounding cheer in some quarters.”

"What people are there that need to know before a moment is recognised, and the one privileged to have delivered it?”

“You may be celebrated if the time and the place is correct. A question you may want to look at is, what do you want to be celebrated for? The production of a part of a puzzle or the finest of the accomplishments that it leads to?”

“I’m not sure… the true nature would be a celebration of life, to which I hope I have added something good.”

“You add more than you know to your life by loving it, standing here for example, in appreciation of what we are experiencing. God sees all and knows there is a richness in those who see existence beautifully.”

“Beauty – A simple measure of the accord in which a man sees an aspect of the life he knows, and tells himself that there is a ‘good’ there, that makes a sense of wonder within.”

“Is that a true definition?”

“It is a true one but there can be others for it is after all, just a word.”

“Beauty is a stimulation within the senses. In the nature of humans, the appreciation of similar aspects in life is common – described as beautiful the world over.”

“Choices over partners with descriptions of who is beautiful or not vary. Looking at a person, or life aspect, from as many angles as a person can, can often lead them to believe they are looking at something very beautiful, if their analysis is unable to reveal something that they would characterize as a flaw.”

“Sometimes a persons beauty is hidden and only revealed in full to a person, or people who they are going to be happy to know – part of a beauty in the flow of life, ensuring the best chance of good patterns.”

“I suppose if a scientist spends all their time looking at equations, the ones that they fail to pull apart and criticise will appear in a way beautiful to them – considering them to be without flaw.”

“Yes. Certainly a way the word is used; a recognition of a perceived faultless work.”

“Is that the same beauty, same as the one that has triggered our senses now, same as the one that is triggered in the spark between two lovers, who see each other as the most beautiful people they have ever known?”

“Any person, if unduly scrutinised, will easily fall victim to a characterization of having many flaws, but it's not just the person that is being looked at, when it is love that lays there and grows. Love is beautiful and without flaw.”

“That same love is in all of existence. It is the source of the appreciation felt in all life. The source of our deep appreciation right now, as we stand applauding a beautiful morning. The love in life knows what natural joys we should be enjoying and tells us; we celebrate the beautiful things.”

“I don’t know if π x 7/G is beautiful…”

“It came from a beautiful place. Our discussion has maybe made you look too much and question it. If it helps, I saw that it brought you joy. Joy is beautiful.”
