Mission Mars

So far 2021 has seen an avalanche of activity in the exploration of Mars. In February, NASA‘s rover Perseverance landed safely. The mission is to explore the Jezero crater area looking for signs of past life preserved in the geology.

The Perseverance rover was also carrying Ingenuity. Ingenuity is a prototype helicopter which is due to be tested on Mars to assess the design and engineering for future development.
